Quotes from par cipants of OACP’s Management Training Programme units, past and present:
“Thank you so much for being such an inspira onal tutor. I have learnt so much from you. I know now that in any future management role I may hold, I will definitely be pu ng into prac ce all that you have taught me. I like your good old fashioned ‘to the point’ style of teaching it works!
“I'm so proud of myself for pushing through this course. With a full me job, four children and all the challenges life throws at all of us, it just goes to show that when you put your mind to something, you can do it”.
“We have a new mo o that is, ‘there is nothing we can’t sort out with good communica on and understanding’. A er this course I feel empowered to make a difference to the staff and I am commi ed to suppor ng the team if they start to struggle. Dealing with issues that arise efficiently is another thing I will do to minimise demo vated staff”.
“I have learnt that although managing might some mes involve trea ng people equally (according to what mo vates them best), I should always ensure I am being fair and objec ve. Through the class discussions, I began to see how the behaviour of managers can greatly affect the culture of an organisa on and the mo va on levels of staff”.
